I'm an aging gamer, but I'm okay with that.

I don't know if Brandon has a lj, but next time I see him online, I must tell him that the Star Wars Galaxies game is sitting on my desk opened, but not installed. We've decided that no one gets to play it until the bedroom is painted. I think it's a wise decision. :) Coincidentally, I think the XBox is on its way out, so this is perfect timing. But I am convinced that Microsoft put remote-controlled destruction mechanisms in every XBox so they could mysteriously malfunction not long before the 360 comes out. "It's almost toooo easy..."

In other news, my weekend consisted of adding yet more proof to the following list of evidence, which I now present to you...

You know you're old when:
-you spend most of your weekend sleeping and playing video games
-the prospect of installing a washer and dryer in your basement brings you immense joy
-you sign up for three months of the Sunday paper so you can sit in a rocking chair on your front porch and read it as a Sunday ritual
-you open a hard cider (not even really a beer, per say!) and get tired and go to bed before you can finish one
-the conversation you have with your cat lasts a little too long
-watching Wayne's World again is like a time warp back to the good ol' days
